Founded in 1954, MTA is a Global Leading Company in the design and production of a wide range of electromechanical and electronic components developed in-house for cars, tractors and off-highway vehicles manufacturers.
Main production is located in Italy together with Laboratory and R&D Department.
Besides the Headquarters, MTA operates with another plant in Italy and 8 sites in the world. In 2014 MTA China was founded in Shanghai, Jinshan district.

MTA STUDIO CUSTOMIZABLE PRODUCTS
MTA Studio is a specific tool used to program dashboards, displays and electronic control units which have been developed with customizable functions allowing the customers to create “tailored” devices. Today the range of customizable products includes 6 different instrument clusters and 4 Displays, whose different display sizes, dimensions, shapes and specifications meet many requirements of vehicle manufacturers.
power distribution units
MTA PDUs allow power distribution and the protection of primary and non-primary services. They are developed based on a modular design concept for the utmost versatility. They are designated for heavy duty use distributing power and protecting main electric services.
They deliver high performance and respond to the new demands of these applications. They permit a simplified wiring harness layout in the engine bay to keep harnesses safe from water and dirt.
FUSES
MTA has been developing and producing fuses for automotive applications since 1954 and is a member of ISO committee with several OEMs homologation.
MTA’s range covers blade and strip types. Today we complete the offer with the MaxiCompact fuse (different option for J-Case) offering a perfect cable protection and space reduction, the M8Compact fuse, studied for space reduction and protection bettering too, but for higher amperages, and the MegaCompact
connctors, terminals and battery terminals
MTA connectors and terminals (from 2.8 mm to 8.0 mm contact) are able to cover the most varied fields of application, from signal to power, from single to multi-way contact. Watertight or not, all connectors can be equipped with secondary-lock as well as CPA (Connector Position Assurance).
Battery terminals can be strip type or double ring technology, with studs or crimping version, screw type or quick locking
in vehicle infotainment
With graphics, fast dynamics and very high-performance processors, MTA is able to offer a complete “In-Vehicle” system and with state-of-the-art specifications. This system manages, even simultaneously, the infotainment, the instrument cluster and a passenger display or a HUD functions, thanks to the presence of an “intelligent” central unit.
