CANopen specifications

Since 22 years CiA publishes CANopen specifications, e.g. CiA 410 specifies the CANopen interface for single- and dual-axis inclinometers. CiA 415 specifies the communication interface for sensors and a sensor controller of road construction and earth moving machines.

CiA test center

CANopen device conformance testing is used to determine whether CANopen devices comply with the requirements of CiA 301 "CANopen application layer and communication profile" specification. CANopen interoperability testing is a CANopen network compatibility testing to determine whether CANopen devices can be integrated into a CANopen network and perform their function without causing any communication problems.

CiA seminars

CiA provides devise seminars for development engineers, system designers, and technical decision- makers. Attendees receive basic information on CAN/CAN FD or CANopen.
